US FSMA 204 Traceability Rule

The Traceability Rule of the US Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) requires additional traceability records for certain foods. Passed in November 21, 2022, compliance has been extended to July 2028 due to the complexity of full-chain traceability. Regardless of where a food is manufacture food, if it is to be imported to the US, it will be subject to this rule, with traceability records required for all primary, secondary and tertiary suppliers of foods on the Food Traceability List (FTL)

US FSMA Foreign Supplier Verification Progrm (FSVP)

If you import foods, you are subject to the FSMA Foreign Supplier Verification Program (FSVP) rule — and FDA is looking and is issuing 483s! TAG can help determine if you need an FSVP, conduct an assessment of your program, and  help ensure you don’t get 483’d for your FSVP (or lack thereof)
